Intro and a couple questions
Hi all,
New guy here and to Mitsubishi. I'm posting in the racing section because I am considering running an Eclipse (along with a couple other cars) in IMCA Sport Compact dirt track races. I have a couple questions about the Eclipse particularly the 95 to 99 years with a 4 cylinder engine.
1) is it an interference motor? In other words if I lose the timing belt do I lose the valves etc?
2) is it a variable valve timing motor? VVT is a no go in Sport Compact.
