I have a 2000 eclipse that was given to me. Friend jumped the car and it never worked again. After a bit of testing I found the ecu was burnt. I purchased a matching ecu immobilizer and starter switch with key and replaced the old one. Still will turn over but not run. Check engine light still doesn't bulb test when tuning the ignition on. I'm using a Bluetooth obd2 adapter and the only fault code I get is p1610 immobilizer function. I'm so close to parting out the car but I thought I'd check here before I do that.

I did verify the key is working by wrapping the fob in tinfoil and activating the immobilizer. Green light pops on np. No tinfoil no green blinking light. Ecu seems to be functioning as it should.

Hoping someone may have experienced a similar situation and has a possible resolve. Thanks in advance.
