1996 eclipse codes?

Angry 1996 eclipse codes?

Hi i have a few codes that i can,t seem to get a straight answer on .codes are 12,25,55. i have a obd2 scanner but it does not seem to connect to vechile?.any help would be great thanks!!:

I ran in to the same problem with my eclipes. Look down by your OBD II connection you should see 2 ports 1 black and 1 white if this is the case with yours. You need a new cord for your scanner that will hook up to both at the same time. The black goes to your ecm and the white one goes to your PCM. The codes are stored on the PCM and not the ecm. another way to find this out is open your hood and right behind the fuse box you will see a grey metal box on it side with cooling fins that your PCM. I found this out at a local parts place yesterday. I punched up OBD II and clicked on job info and it brought up how to connect it. In one of the pictures it displayed it showed the scanner and a cord with 2 connectors. Now as far as the codes you got call up autozone and give them the codes and they will tell you what they are. Hope this helped you out some....
