Hello I have a 95 Eclipse with 6 bolt swap and am having issues with MAF sensor not reading and am getting code P0100. when you start the engine it starts reading then shuts down after about 3 seconds. I am getting very aggervated with this thing and the way it currently runs it won't go over 2k RPMs. Please give me some ideas for I am out at this point.

 

a little more info would help... how long have you been running the motor in the car ???? what maf are you using ???? are the cats plugged ???? when did the problem start ??? are you running it at the track or on the street ??? daily driver or once a month ???? we are not mind readers and when you say it makes a funny noise we have no idea what lead to this question so please post as much info you can and you might get some help

 

Figured the problem out turns out this car had a apexi safc tuner I was not aware of. It was stuffed under the seat found it after chasing wires back from Maf to ECM. After a little tweaking its up and running. Good example what you get when previous owner doesn't have a clue what they have.
