Fuel additive / Adblue

This is probably a silly question. We have an 08 outlander diamond the fuel additive tank is low or empty. Refilling seems to be easy enough. My question is, can I use adblue or does it need to be a specific DEF..

I have the same problem

Hi - was wondering if you found an answer to this, as I need a new dpf additive pouch/tank and have been quoted £300 + VAT so am trying everything to find a cheaper matching part
