I have a 96 lancer that was working fine one day and refused to start the next.
battery and starter are fine, fitted new plugs. I can get it to start eventually if i remove the air filter trunk and block the intake to cut off most of the air. it will idol roughly but die if you try to accelerate. I'm guessing there is some air/fuel device that is not doing its job, but don't know what or where?
Any one got any advise? apart from buy a newer one!
