my talon has a check engine light on, has since I bought it. The code reads about a traction control module, but my car is 5 speed and has no traction control. Sometimes during driving the light will go out and the engine stalls out, then the light comes back on and off the engine restores. It also seems it loses power under 3 grand and it seems to have a limiter on it. My concerns are is it the wrong pcm or can I have the pcm reflashed to my cars specs?

I'm hoping that is the problem and not a bad computer. It's hard to find a used replacement.
