I have a 14 Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4 4j12 and I need a cam part that I cannot find. Dealer wants to sell me the whole assembly and I only need one piece from the assembly that failed on mine. Which should of never broke. I will attach pictures. I don’t even know what to call it. They are currently still making the same motor. I should be able to get this without having to spend $2000 that the a whole assembly cost. Crazy. Will buy used if any one has parts from 2014-2020 cam parts. Please help thank you

 

Sorry to bump an old thread.
I am in the same boat with a broken cylinder head.
I assume you had the same problem, the pins on a rocker assembly work their way out and break a part of the arm..
then they total your car.
I am looking for a whole engine to drop in. The process is infinitely easier than ripping apart the car to get out the carrier unit.
