I am looking to do a tranny swap out on my '96 Gsx once again, this time i want a manual 5 speed transmission and transfer case stock from a 2G eclipse Gsx OR Talon Tsi, "must be AWD" "must be from a 2G"...i think they are W4a33 but will look into any manual W4a32 GVR-4 Tranny. I have a W4a32 automatic 1994 GVR-4 Tranny in my Gsx right now and all this computer **** is throwing it off so i am looking to jump right over all of this electrical **** i dont know how to do and throw in a manual swap. Tranny must be under 100k miles or not too far over 100k miles! Looking for other parts as well to make all of this work such as shifter cable, stick shifter and boot and so on...pretty much a full manual 2g set up,...but i kind of need the tranny first befor i get all the other crap!
This Automatic tranny i have now is still very good, pulls VERY STRONG and has less than 90k miles on it and it came off a running, and clean shifting Galant 1994 VR-4 and i got it for $400 which was a direct swap and bolt up to my 2G... i am not looking to spend that kind of cash again on a stock spec manual tranny!!!
I am thinking of possible trade on this VR-4 tranny with cash or I will buy it right out...I am not looking to spend a very large amount of cash, i am just wanting to get this car fixed over the winter so she will be ready to ride come clear weather.
