Hey guys , I am trying to get my car running after its been sitting for 5 years , I have the chilton manual and have diagnosed it down to the fuel pump and relay. It will start with the help of starting fluid and run for about 5 seconds before it shuts off , I am not getting power back to the pump unless i use the jump wire at the battery . but shouldnt the pump run if its getting juice back to the pump with the jumper cable , The pump does not run even when jumped. I could have several issues going on here , I am working on getting a relay to eliminate the possibility of a faulty relay , I was wondering if any of you guys who have put a high flow pump in your car have a good used stock pump i could buy at a decent price. If so pm me and let me know what you have =)
