RE: 97 Eclipse GST
Well, that sucks bro, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
If you can go back to stock, you will probably get more by selling the aftermarket parts. If you spend more trying to go back to stock, then IMO, sell it as is. I think that's a fair price for a car with mods, both body and motor.
I know you've done/had a lot of work on her and you're only trying to get the highest price you can with all the work put into her, but there are low ballers that just don't like to pay the asking price.
Your best bet is to post it on as many forums as possible to include Craig's list and DSMTrader.
I was going to ask you the year of the body, but that's really irrelevant because the motor is what people are really trying to get info on and since it's rebuilt and the tranny is at half the milage of the body...that's just my thinking though, some folks may not get that far. As for the body, but unless you just ignored rust spots while doing the body work and have done a lot of high speed ramp jumping, I don't think there's really any body integrity issues...but you may still get asked.
My bet is on the AFPR. I think that it's either the rubber gasket/diaphram in it or the fittings lost part of the thread sealer and fuel is leaking past it. It has ~35-38 psi running through it at idle (that's with the hg tube connected guys) and during boost it gets pretty high, so you have to image that even a tiny pinhole will leak quite a bit.
