1996 GS FOR SALE.BLOWN MOTOR
i own a 96 eclipse gs with automatic tranny that does have a hole in the block.
The car has approx 119,000 miles on body. The tranny and motor were both replaced before i got the car. There was said to be approx 60,000 on each.I only put 3000-5000 on the car becasue i also have an Explorer and i had to fix a few things.
To my knowledge the title is clean but you can check yourself once i get theVIN posted becasue the car is at my dads house and im waiting on him to call me back to give me that info.
There is a 420a motor under the car. Ran very strong before i messed up.
No mods done to my knwledge but i know it ran stronger than any stock 420a ive ever seen. As others have told me also. Never smoked.
Tranny shifts excellent.I bought new water pump, all belts, harmonic balancer, tensioner pulley. When i first bought the car it needed brakes so it had new brakes installed but are rusty as of now from sitting.
New mitsubishi plugs, new head gasket seal. New flexplate also... that went out on me after like two weeks so i bought a new one and installed.
Has the good looking stock elcipse 16's, butI have set of 17 inch Motegis havent been put on the car yet becasueI havent been able to drive it and they could defineltely use some new tires b/cI bought from a friend for 300 but i'll add them in for 225.00 and if you'd like i can buy some tires and get a price for you on that but youll have to talk to me before i go spending money then i find out you dont even want the car.
No radio because i sold it after i blew the motor.
Intreior is in fair condition i would say. smells amazing in there. really everytime i get in there i just want to take the forsale sign out cause it smells amazing.the front bumper has a crack near the fog lights region on driver side.i taped it up and painted it and actually looked good till i let it sit and the weather got to the tape.front driver side quarter panel has a dent where the door gets it everytime you open it far.was there when i bought the car.could easily be pulled out i just never done it.the car will not be shipped by me and it will need to be towed or put on trailer.located in baltimore,ohio.43105.at my dads house.about 30 minutes east of columbus.as for a price.i got the car for a steal and put 400-500 in quality parts.i will sell the car for $900.00.OBO.first come first serve.as i said i will throw the rims in for 225.00...please dont wait for me to reply to this.if your seriously interested email me at mauger07@aol.com or call me and leave voicemail at 740-438-1424...i really want to get rid of it because i need the money and its sad to see a true beauty sitting around when it sohuld be on the streets..i just cant aford it right now.if youve got a better offer email or call..thanks and good luck with your search..also im sure im forgetting something so just ask and ill fill you in
