F/S: 1998 ECLIPSE GST, 79,000 MILES
FOR SALE: 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T[/b]
For sale is a Grey 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T, 5 speed. I have had this car for a little over a year and I love it. I am being forced to sell this car due to the fact that the insurance is too high for me to pay due to speeding tickets. I hate to see it go, but I don’t have a choice. I just want to see it go to somebody who will take care of it and enjoy it as much as I did.
Air is compressed by a brand new EvoIII 16G, which is ported and has a bigger 34mm wastegate, which is much better than the tiny stock T-25 turbo. This turbo can push power output up to 350 horsepower and 20 pounds of boost, or more with proper tuning. With more air coming into the motor, I upgraded the fuel pump with a Walbro 190lph to push more fuel, and 550cc RC Racing Injectors to feed it. Fuel management is handled by an Apex-i SAFC-II, and is tuned using an AEM Wideband Air/Fuel ratio gauge on the A-Pillar along with a boost gauge and an oil pressure gauge, which I have not hooked up yet. The motor breathes through an intake and turbo-back exhaust.
With all the extra power the engine is making, the stock clutch was not holding up. I replaced it with an ACT 2100 performance clutch with street disk, and a Fidanza lightweight flywheel. This setup is a perfect blend of drivability and durability. I replaced the leaky stock blow off valve with a Greddy Type RS blow off valve, which sounds great when the intake pressure is released.
I have two sets of rims for the car, 16 inch OZ Racing rims, and 18 inch Motegi’s. The body of the car is unmodified except for the headlights, which were on the car when I purchased it. I would rate the paint 8 out of 10. The car has never been driven in the winter. There are some scratches, but nothing unsightly. The paint is very decent for a 1998 car. It is hard to find an Eclipse that hasn’t been “riced” out with body kits, stickers, and silly paint jobs, so I take pride in that this car is unmolested.
This car has been taken care of, never raced or abused. I have the boost turned down as far is it can go, which is 15 pounds, and was planning to turn it up once I bought an intercooler. I was very conservative when tuning the car, and have it running slightly rich for peace of mind. The only things that were left on my list to get were some lowering springs, and a bigger intercooler, dyno tune it, and get ready for 300+ horsepower.
I have a folder full of receipts and work orders, totaling over $5,000 spent in one year on maintenance and modifications. This car is rare to find with such low miles and in such good condition. I am asking $9,000 or best offer. Imay neogotiate alittle, but I bought the car for over $8000, put $5000 into it, and I only want $9,000 out of it. I understand that modifing the car doesn'tadd to its value, but thats what the car is worth to me. I'm not in a hurry to sell so I will simply wait itout until I get a good offer.I live in Earlville, NY 13332. My e-mail is burnmyeyes77@hotmail.com. I may consider trades. Please don’t lowball.

lol, I'm sure you are game Ron...maybe if i can't get rid of it within a month or two I'll think about it...I honestly think your car would be easier to sell up here than mine...
