Front of MMCS has text P-01, I learned somewhere on this forum that this is important, as there are different versions, which are not compatible.

I followed somebody's forum recommendations to make MMCS disk unlocked permanently. I changed some security values of the disk. I don't know if I succeed in making it permanently unlocked, but computer doesn't see my Hard Disk anymore. MMCS works fine, but now I cannot access it from the computer to make updates. How to solve the problem? Can you help me with it?

well, I need a new hard disk. My system says 'difficult to read hard disk, wait a while until the hard disk reboots' (of something similar). I drive a Peugeot 4007 from 2008 (this is technically an outlander), I assume the hard disk crashed after 9 years. Peugeot can replace the whole MMCS unit for about 4500 euros, but that's way too much in my opinion.

So I'm looking for a suitable HDD and looking for correct file structure for Peugeot 4007, version P-01 of MMCS. Anyone have this?
