awesome find..

however, i find it odd that they keep calling the new exo X the 2007 model...i would think that a 2007 US model would have been shown at the big US autoshows, and considering that some 2007 models will soon be available, its odd that there hasnt been more buzz...perhaps this will be a later release in the US?

Ya I just read a EVO 9.5 might be this years new EVO and the EVO 10 will be the 2008 model because mitsu is still trying to make the 10 more and more of a beast from the factory

I wouldn't be supprised to see it come out as late as 09 to be honest. Mitsu currently pulled its fatory backings out of the wrc and is only focusing on the darkia rally. My guess is that they are trying to invest some serious effort. From what I read in a mag.(super street I think) the X is going to have a alunimun block/head set up with a 6spd paddle shift(gay) transmission, over all the car is expected to make some where in the area of 400hp in an attempt to move away from the lancer on steroids to a car of its own.

I think the paddle shifter thing is going to the way side and wont happed now. They cant do that to the car maybe as an option but you have to keep in mind in 2004 an automatic EVO was supposed to come out and never did.

the evo x looks like its going to be sick.. but the guy says you can still drift.. what about once they put int he suspencion and al those upgrades you think it will remove the body roll and the drift ability?

I think body roll will be at a minumum and drift ability will always be there if it has power. the current EVOs lack a ton of power and can drift rather easily so I assume at 400HP and great suspension it will still be driftable
