Ok, well this kid I go to school with started talking mad #$%@, saying he could beat me in a race. Personally, i thought he actually could beat me, 4cyl vs 4cyl, nearly an even race right? So i asked him to stop running his mouth, and to get in his car and follow me to a near by street. The street is stretched, and there's only one stop sign on it. Of course after talking so much ****, he had to take up the offer. We got a couple people interested in coming out and watching, I had 1 other in my car, and we had two observers and the video taper. We both have auto trannys so I figured it would be a close race, and all I had to do was floor it and get in front. We raced from where the street links up with main road to an entrance of some apartment complexes down the street.

There is one embarrassing part to this story...
The race was drag like, with the ability to cut off each other and with the use of NO brakes.
The race wast started with a count to 3 from one of the observers at the beginning of the street.. well i had previously reversed into my starting position and didn't realize that i was still in reverse. so ofcourse, I failed on that part and instead of going forward i went backwards... but the honda was generous enough to roll back and restart.

BTW, his excuse was he thought there was a cop at the stop so he slowed down.. but honestly it was bout 20ft after the stop that i managed to get over a car length way from him.

The reality of it is, Both cars runs 15+ in the 1/4. The civic is actually faster than a GS/RS 3g. On average the 2 door civics are low 15 (15.4 ish, Ive seen some hit 14.9s stock) The GS/RS is a 16 sec car or worse. I have seen them very rarely hit high 15s stock, but it is highly unlikely.

Regaudless of the truth you won a race in the video. Only true test is to do it legally and go to a drag strip and then see what happens.
