Default Is the Evo the future Civic?

I have been hearing rumors that in about 2 years the evo will be around $10G's. Is this true? If anyone has any info or can clear this up for me please let me know, thanks. And if this is true does this mean that everyone will have an Evo in about 2-3 years which will make it the future civic [:'(], Damn Gina!! please tell me this isn't true.

an evo for 10G's I doubt it. you can get a standard lancer (es) for that now maybe that is what they meant.

I thought that mitsubishi lost their funding? But if they did, wouldnt they only be able to survive for 2 years by themselves(without the funding) which would force them to drop prices like crazy(I'm guessing on most mitsubishi cars). Which would lead to the Evo being around 10G's which would then lead to everyone owning an Evo but that sucks cause thats always been my favorite car. Then people are going to start saying "oh you drive an EVO? damn just like everyone else."

Hey Captain kickass you have got to be kidding me. An EVO for 10G's??? It cost Mits well over 20G's to make these cars. They are not going to sell them for half of cost. Get your head out of between your legs and start thinkin!!! That thing above your shoulders is not just a hat rack!!! Plus they are only bringing roughly 3,000 Evos to this country in the three trim levels. Honda brings over 60,000 civics to the U.S.A. That is a big difference. Plus too many kids are wrecking these things and they are getting totaled out.

They wouldnt lower the price that much, if they did it would be like by 5k or maybe like 0%interest or somthin like that.

Yeah what I know is that mitsubishi only has two years left of fundings and after that if nobody steps in and helps them then they will have to sell everything fast which means that they will drop prices. So they need to find help real quick or else they're going to disapear.

lets hope so anyway.. I don't want to see 8000 evos out there runnin around in the hands of little punk *** kids. not only will that **** me off, but after 1 year you will see a lot of them in junk yards cause kids don't know how do drive those cars. thats the last thing we need.
