alright guys...a buddy of mine came over to my house yesterday and he has a 06 acura rsx type s...so heres the question...2g gst w/ 18g turbo intake and exhaust...whos would win down the 1/4...i drove it last night and well to be honest with you it was one of the fastest n/a cars ive ever driven...so lemme know what you guys think would dust his *** down the line...

 

your car should win easily. The RSX s can run high 13s with bolt ons and hondata but if your tuned and got 18G turbo you should be doing better than high 13s yourself

 

the only reason they are so quick is b/cthey have 11:1 compression. i think with an 18g turbo and all supporting mods you should have no problem waxxxxxxing him!!!! you will have to get a decent launch though. he will have less problem with spinning so you'll have to baby 1st and going into 2nd.

 

lol im thinking that 18g turbo upgrade give a lot more power that im imagining it to lol...it must have just been b/c i havent ridden in a real car in a while lol man i hate honda's and their engines even though they have potential but son lemme tell ya lol that was the first 6 speed ive ever driven and i caught that bitch through 4 gears lol...but i was def thinking the 18g would take it i was just def surprised at the performance of that honda motor...it was def sexy power lol...still faithful to the 2g gst though and alwayz will be...

sorry no i was asking who would win...my last post was just how i played it out in my mined and what i experienced when i drove his car...i dont have my eclipse yet but with any luck and agallardo's shell if im able to get it then soon we'll see just who has the advantage...lol sorry about the confusion...

 

ok, gotcha. yea with an 18g with suporting mods and a tune you will absolulely wax him.. with a decent 18g and good tune you'll be pushing close to 360-370whp.

 

no **** man are you serious lol that straight nasty lol...yeah im thinking i just go intimidated by a car with some power...and in my defense its been about a year since i sat in the driver seat of my gst and i miss it terribly but but if it all like that i def know my faith in it is restored fully lol...it was the fact that the i-vtec was kickin in and shooting us off like that lol intimidation is a killer...i def gotta get me another eclipse...no doubt...

 

well you are running with a GS right now right? my friend has a v6 mazda 6 which stock only has 10hp more than the RSX-S and goning from his car to mine is like night and day!!! so i know exactly how you feel but going from an RSX-S to a 350whp GS-T is noooooooo comparison. on a mustang dyno my friend dyno'd at like 171whp which means the RSX-S would be putting roughly 165'ish whp down on a mustang dyno which isn't to shabby.My friend put intake and exhaust on his car and put down 178whp.Since thenhe has put ground kit, safcII, and wideband on his car and after tuned he's at 195whp.

 

whats the difference between a mustang dyno and any other dyno...and not to say you're wrong or anything but this car def def DEEEFFFFF felt like it had more than 160-70 hp...
