does anyone else have 1/4 mile times for there eclipse spyder gt's becasue ive seen all this stuff on sites saying i should be runnin a 15.5 but ive gone like 5 times and the lowest time i can get is a 16.9 so if you have any times that u have gotten running stock let me know

 

I've heard the GT's Run in the low 15's, but that's probably at low altitude. Where do you live?? They always run the cars at low altitude.

 

i have not seen a stock gt run anything under a mid 16 myself.

 

stock gst and gsx run mid to low 15s. so the chances of a n/a gt running a low 15 is not likely.

wow..15 flat is very Very fast. with an automatic, you cannot expect much better than a mid to high 16...and with a manual, high 15s...like a 15.5-15.7 the listed QM time for the GT. but that is with a professional driver... i have the GT driveline, with the unfortunate auto-stick in my RT, and my best time was a 16.1, but completely stock, it ran a 16.8 best.

 

i have a 2001 mitsu eclipse gt runnin intake cam injectors and exhaust in a 5 speed and ran 15.5 first try

 

I had to add. yes a stock GT coupe will do low\mid 15s a spyder "should" do High 15s. the spyder is fat it is extremely heavy for not much power. but 16.9 really is far off. I had a GS that could run that

 

Hey there...I am thinking about getting a 03 gts..it has almost 68k on it so i was just seeing what you have thought of it so far..and if you've had any problems? Do you get good gas mileage and what are good modifications to put on it that you've seen or heard of? Thanks. -Sarah
