ok so went out with a friend of mine and he has the cobra i have the 3000gt. we decided to go from a 35 roll we were both in 2nd when we start, he honked 3 times and we went. of course i lost casue my car is completely stock and he has alot of mods enough to make about 450 at the wheels but the thing is we shut down about 100 and he was only like 2-3 cars ahead, kept up better then i thought and it might have been a lost but was still fun.

Then obviously he wasn't racing. We're talking a 450WHP car compared to your 240WHP 3000GT VR4. It would be more like train lenghts in a real race, especially considering both cars weigh aboutthe same.

The SL is even slower. He probably raced a V6 automatic Mustang. Thats the only way he would have only gotten beat by 2-3 lenghts, hell a GT would have raped him. Stupid ricers.

You need to look up the term ricer. Rice is an attitude... not what you drive. Rice is big wings and FWD+low power. Now, a respectable 11sec DSM with a stock body... is in no way rice.

all of us drive japaneese cars!!! this is a mitsubishi forum!!! we don't drive american cars bc all they do most of the time is break down anyway. most of them can't make a turn if their lives depended on it, and power is always thought to be made through bigger displacement. oh and even though the sl is slower than the vr-4 it still makes respectable times on the track for a 3500lb car with only 160whp.
