Yeah, I had stuff to do around the house so I didn't get out either

 

Weekend's now here cous...

I have another story, this time a last gen prelude. It was a highway race and he totally lost. I'm going up our new three lane, of course in the far left lane, and the whole thing is empty. All the cars liked are in the middle or right lane, but traffic wasn't harsh or anything. I'm going like 70-75mph and notice a prelude just lane changed into my lane. I saw the back and it had the honda OEM aftermarket body kit. It had a loud *** exhaust and was lowered. I'm like "this dude better drive a little faster or i'll be right on him soon". Well, I'm catching up to him kinda quickly because he's only going like 55mph. He speeds up a little, passes a car in the middle lane then gets back in the middle lane. I don't really think much of it as i pass him. I can then see him in my mirror like swerve back in my lane and floor it. He catchs up to me and like gets right on my bumper. I'm like "alright, i'll move, but it won't be pretty". So the middle lane is all clear ahead now and i switch lanes, drop it in third gear and floor it. Dude keeps up with me and where approaching 85mph. I shift to fourth and pedal to floor...start creeping away from him. Now we're doing about 95mph and i just keep it planted. Soon 105 and he's starting to fade a little quicker now. As soon as i hit 110, i let off and hit the brakes. Well, the guy is still behind me and stays behind me. I slow down to about 60-65 and go back in the left lane. And that's the end.

gotta love the idiots who dont know how to race at high speeds....... and think they can outrun an eclipse........ nice kill

 

just bought a 99 eclipse GS so im guessin i shouldnt really try to take on too many things quite yet...still own mustangs (sorry) so i know what to race and what not to race. man i need a turbo.....

 

I beat a civic the other day. I think that it was a turbo, it sounded like it and had a fmic. I smoked it but I think he like misshifted or something because I killed him, or it just might of been a civic with one of those noise maker things. I raced my friend he's got a T/A and I got killed, it was fun I beat him off the launch and then he caught up and just flew by.

 

nice kill on the honda..... saw a SVT mustang race a Camaro SS the other day, they had to be head to head for a good 500 ft. before they saw a cop and slowed down, course the cop just let em go.........

 

The best thing i've ever seen was an E36 M3 race a TransAm Ram-Air. The T/A won, but the M3 was giving him a good run up til about third gear....then the torque king T/A took over. I raced my cat up the driveway yesterday.....she won....[:@]

So my friend and I were on our way to a party last weekend and this saturn with four people pulls up to me. He has a sound system up in it and turns it up to try and be cool and it sounds like ****. He revs his engine and me and my friend says just do it. So I let him take off and get ahead of me a little bit. Then I just floor it and catch up to and blow right by him. We pull up to another light and this time my friend rolls down his window so the guy can see me. He revs his engine again and I look at him and ask him if he is serious. The light turns green and this time I leave him in my smoke. All I can see are his head lights getting farther and farther away. I just laughed. The next light I have to turn left and he is in the right lane and just flicks me off and drives away. I dont race very much since my car is stock but I did order my CAI and pulley so I happy about that. Not a good kill cause it was a saturn full of people but I thought it was funny.
