i wanna race my boys 350z greddy exhaust evo2 and nismo intake vs my soon to be big 16g 96eclipse gs-t,stock intercooler,stock injectors MY MODS ARE LISTED DOWN BELOW,Well i just wanted to know do i have a chance? i only want to go up to 12lbs. of boost,i wanna be safe, i also have a custom 3" exhaust not listed,tell me what u guys think

 

Youre off to a good start with what you got. But Id do a few more fuel delivery mods before that turbo is put in and finished... not to mention a FMIC... but please, beat the hell outta that Nismoron. I hate those f*cking cars. Theyre like Hondas... only worse and preppier.

 

what else should i do?they told me the smic and the stock injectors would be just fine,all i needed to do was upgrade to a bigger fuel pump

 

You already have a good fuel pump. That Walbro. I didnt say it was necessary, its just a suggestion. You COULD run it as is. I just would make a few other upgrades.

 

If you want to be sure to beat him, get larger injectors, at least 550s and an AFPR. Then you'll need an AFC or another fuel management item. Just a larger turbo won't gain you as much as you would expect without the supporting mods.
Having the smic won't hurt you.....for the first couple of runs, then after that you'll heatsoak it. That's assuming that it's clean with no oil whatsoever inside and assuming that the airflow to the smic is clear and not blocked and that it's not collecting extra heat from the foglights.

Honestly, don't race him until you have all the supporting mods just so you can easily walk him. Just my 2

 

And be sure to shift better 80% of the people i know driving 350z are just cuz they have the money and they dont actually catch up to their potential... (funny one time i saw one launch, shift second, a HUGE metal grind followed by a slow down and pulling over on hazard lights) i myself like them, but.... ehm, bleh, somehow overrated haha

I havent really heard anything bad about them.... but like ive said quite some times, i do not own a 4g63 and dunno it whatsoever haha, get someones opinion and maybe you can later buy it from there.
As for the 350z, i myself like the g35 a bit more... in fact theres a lot of cars that are awesome, but they have been eaten by the ricing world, i love for example the 240sx all completely stock and with a metallic paint
