So i've been taking it easy lately because of my headgasket. I've been letting all the ricers blow past me and smile and laugh. Today was different. I was driving back from class and there was a Ram Air Trans AM riding my ***. I'm thinking to myself... thats fine if he wants to a be a dick... I turn right onto Penn ave and hes still behind me until the first stop light. Now he decides he wants to get next to me and start revving his engine. I just over and him and smile and I rev my engine too. Now, I'm a firm believer in embarrassing people by making them look like a dumb *** so... I don't even try... don't even jump the light or anything... I casually smile as he blows past me. At the next light hes next to me again. He rolls down his window, tells me my cars a piece of ****, and that I shouldn't be on the road thinking I'm paul walker... Now this gets me angry... **** the head gasket.. noone insults my car... I put the car into gear and rev to my sweet spot.. First gear a was alittle behind him because of the 50 trim needing more time to spool up, but once I hit 2nd... he had no hope... I watched his face as I blew past him and smiled at his middle finger... So bad so sad... Now after my little story... Do I have anything to be proud of hahaha... What are the specs on the ram air trans am? I thought they were supposed to be pretty quick but I could be wrong... if I should have easily beat him... Forget this kill and forget my bruised ego haha

 

Those cars are pretty quick. my father has one and they do have some good torque. I think they are supposed to run around a mid 13 sec. 1/4 mile

 

It depends on the year of the Trans Am but the ones after 1991 do anywhere from 15 sec to 13 sec in the quarter mile. If you know what year I can tell you the exact quarter mile time. Great race, it's always embarrasing when your V8 gets beat by a 4 cylinder!!

Heck ya! I love readin these sort of stories. Not all guys with V8's are dicks, but the ones that are all need to be smacked around once or twice by a I4 just to keep them humble. Great kill

yah if the person can drive they can go about 12.9 stock but a bad driver will still run low 13's. I dont know were you got 13.9's from but they can run almost a full second faster than that. Also stock they have about 340 hp and 380 torque at the crank about 310 hp and 335-340 torque at the wheels.
