can you explain what a stage 3 intake is??? all an intake is, is a hard pipe and filter what in addition to that makes it a stage III

How dicided to have intake stages?? I always hated that... I got a stage 3 turbo lol. but basicly it is a cold air intake and the others are similar to the mitsu short ram setups
