Suspension Is your ride slammed to the ground? Did you lift it so high you need a ladder to get in?

Default 2011 Outlander Sport: Rear lift

The rear looks to be slightly saggy and it's definitely soft back there when carrying rear passengers and/or cargo. I believe this is negatively affecting the aerodynamics and therefore the highway MPG. I'm thinking a 1" lift at most. I see strut spacer kits for the Outlander, but none specifically for the Sport. Are they they same? Why couldn't I drill holes in the rear lower control arms about 3/4" higher from their current position and attach the lower strut mount there? I'd use spacers and bolts in the original holes to reinforce it just to be 100% safe.
