There are only 2 "cheap" coilovers that from what ive heard are any good. Those ore either skunk2 or ground control. Other than that i wouldnt trust them. But a link to what your talking about wuold help

Junk. Go with the Megan street coilovers, best bang for the buck.

 

skunk2 is a good low budget option imo

 

i have some weapon r and they do look pretty cheap. and they dont come with shocks like a good pair. i can send pics if you want

 

I love my set. I like them better than my old Ground Controls (450f/220r I believe) because my Skunk2s are stiffer (650 front and rear). My wife hates the way it rides because it's too stiff for her, then again, I hate the way her car "floats" all over the place, lol.

Alright while we're on the subject I could use some similar advise.

Presently I have Eibach Pro Kit springs with Koni yellow adjustable front struts and KYB AGX adjustable struts in the rear. With 18X7.5 Enkei wheels. There are pics inmy photo gallery for reference.

What I would like to do is raise the ride up about 1/2" or so to allow the rear wheels to even out and have a little more travel. Do not want to get back to stock but up a hair would smooth things out some. Had considered the Skunk adjustable coils or just a set of the adjuster sleeves to do this. Since a couple or more of you have done this, what would you suggest.

 

Yeah, I've heard the Eibach's have a weird tendency to be lower in the rear than the fronts. Weird. Anyway, if you're looking for close to the same ride quality, get Ground Controls (they're made by Eibach). I would suggest the set though, but you can buy them separately(front and/or rear) if you prefer. I wouldn't suggest Skunk2s unless you're ready for a FIRM ride, lol.

Sleeves by themselve may raise the rear up a bit, but one thing to consider is that most sleeves and their perch are 2.5" in diameter, which may be too small for the overall diameter of springs. Springs are also slotted to fit in shock perch grooves. If you add a perch underneath them, they will inevitabley have more pressure on one side of the springs because they will not sit even. The springs may also slide around on the sleeve perch. Safe? I'm inclined to say, No. I wouldn't suggest this.
