Default Rear left side lower than right?

I have 18" rims on my 06 lancer ralliart and a really heavy sub in the back. I just noticed that there is barely any gap between the rear left tire and fender, but there is enough on the right side. About half an inch to an inch difference between rear left and rear right side. The left side rubs when i go over a pothole or when there is a passenger in the back. What could this be? Easy fix or something expensive? and would taking the sub out help or no?
Thanks
