Suspension Is your ride slammed to the ground? Did you lift it so high you need a ladder to get in?

i own an 02 Mitsubishi Lancer ES w/ 15" YoKoHaMa...I'm planning to drop it w/ Tein Suspension S...

trying to install only the lowering springs w/out the aftermarket coilover...what do you guys think? would it make my tires worn out or cause any problems?

Whenever you lower a car you always want to check the alignment so you dont take out your tires. You'll probably want to get a camber kit if you lower it.

Also ..using spring only may cause your shock to bottom out, which is not good. not exactly sure how much lower you wanna go, just consider this. You may better off getting cheaper coilover set. Not always tein, if you are under budget.

Well if you just put springs in it you blow your sturts and have a bouncy ride, real sh***y. And you'll end up replacing your struts then, so you might as well get kyb struts for it. And turboduck is right, you might as well get a cheaper set than tein cuz the end effect is going to be the same, after a month or two you'll have blown struts which will also cause the springs to wear out. And I don't think you'll need a camber kit, just check the alignment and you're good to go

yeah you should get coilovers, the best thing for you to do is get tein springs and get the kyb struts, that'd be the cheapest thing for you to do right now if you wanna do it right, and not have a shi*** a** ride
