Expose about Mitsubishi Tires

Whether they knew it or not, Mitsubishi ORDERED Goodyear to produce tires that last only 25,000 miles. Most likely, Mitsubishi demanded increased grip on dry and damp roads. To get that, tire engineers must give up, among other things, long life. (Don’t ask engineers to do something you don’t understand. They’ll do EXACTLY what you ask for, even if you don’t know—and don’t want—what you required.)
Perhaps the Mitsubishi purchasing agent chose Goodyear because they were cheaper than Michelin (for sure) or Bridgestone (probably) but in no way are they crap. My guess is that the Mitsubishi dealer thinks Goodyears are crap because either a) they don’t sell Goodyears or b) the Goodyear doesn’t offer the same profit margin as other brands.
Thanks,
