Default 02 diamante odd tire wear

My tires wear more on the inside and the rear worse than the front.
Has this happened to anyone and how to correct it.

Its not been fixed by replacing the shocks. I know of people putting washers between the body and control arm and longer bolts but that was on a galant, not a diamante. On the diamante that's not going to work ?

Thanks.
Srinath.

that will work on any vehicle. Its called toe-in adjustment. Best to get it right as possible, but dont neglect regular tyre rotation.

Rear wheels wearing faster on a fwd? You been doing handbrake skids?!

No handbrake skids - in fact till 3-4 weeks ago for maybe a year+ the handbrake never worked.
I think my rear camber adjustment needs shims or something. It has that eccentric washer right, I suspect there is a shim I can put under that housing.
I've seen a galant owner put a bunch of washers between the control arm and the body to get the wheels vertical. In fact I bought hardened bolts for that purpose for him.
Is there such a trick in a 02 diamante ?
Cool.

Mine turned out to be the knuckle bushing in front of the wheel carriers in the rear.
You can also have the same issue if shocks are worn, the bushing on top of the shocks are gone as well as the camber shims - well if it had shims put in at some time, you may need more etc ...
Aftermarket shocks may be different length/spring rate etc, and can need shims.
Cool.

This would be caused by worn out Rear knuckle Bushings.
I had same problem until I replaced them, now... straight as an arrow and even tire wear.
Contact a Mitsubishi dealership and get the part number, then take that part number and go to O'Reilly Auto they can cross that part number over to a MOOG Bushing.
