Default 2004 Endeavor - check engine light

Check engine light code P0135 was the diagnosis by shop. The issue - they said the oxygen sensor is stuck/frozen and they can't remove it. Option - remove manifold and work on the bench to remove the sensor, if that fails, worse case would be to replace manifold and sensors. Question - does this seem reasonable? Suggestions for removing the sensor? What happens if I do nothing? Thanks for any help!

Default check engine light

My wife's '05 endeavor has had check eng. light on twice. Latest was at about 70,200 mi. You might want to check throttle body for carbon buildup. I removed intake hardware to expose throttle body and used CFC throttle body cleaner, spraying with butterfly open. It took care of my problem.
