RE: Third row seat removable?
With the addes 3rd row seating does that include any suspension upgrades on the XLS? It just dawned on me that your now adding 2 more people to the vehicle plus possible cargo in the rear. Does anyone know if maybe the XLS has either stiffer springs or shocks or anything?

RE: Third row seat removable?
Suspension is the the same throughout, to confirm this, gross payload for 5 seat and 7 seat is exactly the same although unladen weight (kerb weight) of 5 seater UK modelis 35kg lighter than 7 seater.

Glad other folks have started to tackle this discussion!
I am going to work on that in the upcomming weeks.
I am hoping for two "fittings" 1x fitting for an AR, another fitting for pistols etc lockbox. I am curiosu to see if I can make a steel cover/lock to replace the OEM lid and then use the OEM lids cover/carpet on it.

I feel sorry for budh. No-one really tried to answer his question. Yes the third row seats can be removed to create storage space and reduce weight. When you lift them out you will be surprised at how heavy they are.
Although the seat hinges appear to have a mechanism for easy removal I have not discovered a simple unclip trick. Instead you have to remove the plastic covers and remove 6 15mm hex bolts. After removing the seats put the hinges back with their bolts to allow easy re-installation.
We use our vehicle to move equipment for a mobile DJ business and often have it stacked to the roof and the added space is handy for items that we leave permanently in the vehicle.
Don't mention the word gun or you will get another lengthy discussion regarding the US constitution which is not particularly relevant to users in other countries.
