1994 Montero SR keyless remote programming???

I bought a keyless remote for my 1994 Montero SR. To program it the instructions say to press and hold a button under the dash. I can't find it. Does anyone have any ideas or if there is another way? The remote I bought off ebay and the brand is mykeyless.
