i have a 92 plymouth laser rs 2.0 non turbo. the same as the 92 eclipse. i was wondering what i need to completly rebuild the engine?but i dont want it stock. i want to rebuild it and use performance parts. i know i need pistons and some other stuff but i need to know everything i need. thanks

 

Well what are you wanting to do? There is ALOT that can be done that isn't stock. But always ALWAYS research. RESEARCH EVERYTHING. find out how different parts react with each other as well as what parts will give you a better performance than the others... As for parts needing replaced to make... First look into 420A's writeup at the top to give you an idea. The engine may be different BUT it's still going to be things you'll need to look into upgrading. I.E. Cams, crank, pistons and rods, valves, port n polish, lifters and rockers, as well as quite a few other things.
