Default 92' Eclipse Overdrive

Hello everyone-

I have a 1992 Eclipse I just baught...its pretty good with 78k miles...The only problem is the overdrive in the automatic gear box..When I try to get 4th gear its equivalent to putting it in neutral(engine revs free). Yesterday I put some lucas anti-slip in the tranny...Helped the shifts, but not the over drive.

I hear this is a common problem......Is there any way a do-it yourself-er can correct this..

usually if your overdrive is gone, that means that you need a neww end clutch. This is something you could attempt yourself because you dont need to drop the tranny to do it
