Default 94 eclipse rebuild tips needed/horsepower

I just got a 94 eclipse to fix up. I have the head off. I'm looking for horsepower. I would like it to do 13 to 13.5 in the 1/4 mile and stil drive it daily. I have the head off and ready to go the machine shop. I'm thinking port and polish. Any one able to tell me what I need to do to get this to run 13's let me know. I am planning on turbo.

well you really cant do it on the stock block because you wont be able to boost enough on those high compression pistons. But what engine do you have? 1.8 or 2.0?

To build a 2.0 n/a motor to run 13's is gonna cost a lot of money. If you still want to try it I have some ideas.

I'll take your ideas and other suggestions you may have to get this car in the 13's. I have always been a V8 kinda guy. I got this car cheap and want to try something new. Like I said I have the head off, I'm thinking more cam, port and polish.
