broke idle

idle surges up and down anywhere from 2500 to 3500

and dont idle down

, what can i do to fix it or at least lead to fixing it?

From:

could be vaccuum leak, bad MAF (mass airflow sensor), gasket leak on the TB or intake mani, stuck throttle cable, IAC

do a search on VFAQ there is a link there to help with "idle surge" issues
