Ok so i have a 91 Tsi fwd and im looking for some cat back exhaust. Problem is every company makes it for the awd. Has anybody found 3" cat back for a fwd tsi or know of any for sale? Thanks

Ok the only catback i found on there was 3" Thermal system. Does Thermal make good products?

 

VRS makes a decent system. Just make sure you get the SS.

ive also been looking around for an exhaust system for the laser, but ill be honest, im not looking to pay as much for the exhaust as i did for the car..right now, these 400-700 dollar exhaust systems are out of the question. this wasnt supposed to be a project car...i just hate stock exhaust.

 

if you want something cheaper than that for a catback then getting a custom job done is the best way to go. As long as the person has a mandrel pipe bender, your all set

 

i was telling ron earlier..before i moved, i worked at an exhaust shop for a while...but i dont know anyone here. the idea of buying/paying for an exhaust system sickens me...i bent the exhaust on my truck in about an hour, and it ended up costing me something like 32 bucks...

 

sorry for the double post...but ive contcted a few places with exhaust for a "92 eclipse awd turbo", and two have replied back and told me that the exhaust wouldnt fit my car...

i cant imagine why it wouldnt fit...thoughts?

 

if you have a1g AWD laser its the same car, it'll fit, they probly just dont know any better.
