ECU

RE: ECU
you probably not the same problem ECU you had. From what I have found out the capacitors are notorous for going bad in those ECU. As a matter a fact I have been having the same problem. Either the ECU should have the capacitor changed in it or a remanufactured ECU will have modern parts in it.
Now, I have a Question, I replaced my ECU and now the car runs but I still have no fire to cylinders 2 and 3. (which is probably what you are experiencing when you say "like the mass in unplugged.) I have new coil packs on as well. Crank/cam sensor is functioning. ignition module maybe? Any ideas?
sorry to highjack

RE: ECU
I unplugged the MAS and the running changed a lot, so I take back it acting like the MAS is unplugged. When at idle it idles like it normaly does, but when I'm driving and I'm going slow with the RPMs at around 3 to 4000, it kinda slightly jurks back and forth, well not jurk. It's hard to explain. I do plain on having my ECUrebuilt, so I'll see what that does. Thanks

Maybe you should try leaving useful advice when you post. Or at least answering the question that was asked instead of butting into a conversation that does not concern you. Thanks.

I did, however being that I am having the same exact issue and couldn't find it anywhere else in the forum I decided to ask the person who might be able to help me since they were in the same boat.
