ok so like i said before i own a 91 eclipse and im putting a 92 motor in it my ? is this... will a manual trans from a 93 or 94 fit i heard multiple answers and i figured id post it and how about a 2g turbo trans will any of these work????? please help

 

I wouldnt attempt the 2g swap.... but the 1Gb (93-94) swap should work.

 

have you ever heard of ther fwd/awd switchable tranny the reason i ask this is because i purchased a motor and tranny combo and it looks like a awd trans so i looked it up and i thought mayb this could b a switchable (motor and trans are imported)

 

i dont see why it wouldnt i have a 90 motor in a 93 car
theyre all basically the same.
im thinking the front axles are different for an AWD trans, youll have an output shaft coming out of the bottom rear side of the bell housing if its AWD trans. (bottom right corner of pic)

i know the awd tranny's changed by year one the spline count. But im not sure about the FWD. I dond see how they would be different
