idling high

im new to eclipses and i just got a 1990 with turbo and its idling aroun 2,000 and i dont know whts wrong any advice?

Check the IAC motor.

i laughed when i saw idling high and then you said it was at 2k rpm, when the eclipse was doing that till we fixed it, it would idle at 3,000-4,500rpm. lol. turned out to be the throttle cable

how long has it been doing it. You might only have to adjust the BISS screw

I had a problem one day with my cruise cable. It got stuck and didn't allow the throttle plate to close normally..
