Pre-ignition usually caused by carbon build up=misfire...Thats why I said it can be numerous things...Yes he has a lean misfire,I agree checking fuel pressure.if you have the ability to use an DSO-Digital storage oscilliscope-Use that look at the wave pattern of the injectors.

Well, I dont think there is a wave pattern now. It just up and quit on me today and will turn over but not catch and crank. Its not even trying. Anyone need some parts?

Well the dist rotor still turns when you crank it so I guess it isnt the timing belt. I'm thinking it may have been the computer.
