plugs and wires, my buddies TSi AWD talon did that once it hit 4K and only under full boost. pulled the wires and the cracked in hand...the plugs were not even hand tight either. id say change them first and then move on from there

ok, so what is the importance of aftermarket wires/plugs? Something like Nology, MSD, etc...or should I just buy off the shelf? Mods are, no cat, Dejon Tool intake, K&N air filter, no a/c (if thats a mod).

Bigger wires allow more current to travel. Nology wires have a built in capacitor to build the charge and let it all go at once giving a more powerful spark. Regular wires are the bare necessity to run the egine. That's the basic idea behind the different wires.
