i have searched all through the internet and i cannot get this car to go into gear.. i have adjuseted the adjusment rod that leades to the master cylinder like i was told to on a website with no prevail.. i have bled the system many many times to be sure of no air, but still nothing.. we just pulled off the tranny because i was told the pressure plate might be too tight so we pulled it and used a torque wrench set to 15ft/lbs like the haynes book i have says.. still wont go into gear...
it is like with the clutch to the floor it is still grabbing, but yet it wont shift.. we started it in gear once and all it did was burn up clutch and try to stall but my step dad gave it gas and kept it running it was just burning clutch...any help??
sorry for the long post, but i was going into detail so maybe you guys can help me... im justreally pissed right now, i have tried everything, it just wont work

 

your synchros could be bad. also check to make sure your master and slave cylinders arent leaking at all

 

1Gs have issues with the clutch pedal and needs to be replaced as needed and then have the pedal welded to the rod.

Estraw, they arent leaking but i was thinking my slave cylinder could be bad, anyone else agree?

oh, and would the Coolant Temperature gague make my car run bad if it was broke??

 

it could make it overheat, i dont think it would actually run bad tho

dsm tuners (minus the space) gets screend out as ***** so he was saying replace it with that so you can see the site.

 

Wait.. can you go into detail about this clutch pedal welding thing?
i went as far as buying a used tranny to fix the grinding problem... but whats this thing with the pedal?
