Performance Question About old school eclipse
Elkhart,Indiana, Most people roll in civic with an air intake and fart can and thats it. So if i can beat a civic with that i should be able to keep up around here, atleast until i can get something alittle better like a 420a eclipse or something like that

Another Question is , everyone talks about boring they're 4g37 where do you get it bored at? I work at a metal shop is they're anyway i can do it? Pretty much i just need some direction
Boring and honing the cyl is for resurfacing the cyl walls so new rings and be added for better seal.

basically u have to drill out like .20" and thats boring .20 over ..and no offence but you really dont knwo much about cars do you? i understand that you have bolted on things to your sebring but you baught an eclipse and thaught it was going to be like F&f fast? get a 2nd gen eclipse GSX or GST for a base motor then mod that one.. those motors are known for like 11's but even that is after @20k+ motor work... and the general rool of thumb around here is

The 2g engine that you want is the 4g63, not the 420a. The 420a comes in the GS and RS 2g ecplipes while the 4g63 came in the turbo model eclipses. The GSX is the best model to get with the AWD turbo
