Radio replacement?
Hi all.
New to the forum and Mitsubishi...... Just bought a 93 Eclipse GS a couple of weeks ago. The factory radio works sometimes and I was thinking about replacing it with a later model factory unit that had a CD player in it. I've was wondering about a 95 and up Infinity radio w/ multi-CD players in them. Is there anything to watch out for like security codes, wiring harness mods, etc? If a 95 and up will work, what kinda trim around the radio would be needed if any. The unit in my car currently has a separate cassette player and separate radio. Thanks in advance for your input!!!

RE: Radio replacement?
I just got the car running after it had been sitting up for a couple of years. So I'm spending my cash right now on mechanical stuff but wanted a working radio. Factory radios seemed pretty cheap on ebay which would be fine for me right now.

RE: Radio replacement?
It would prolly be easier to just get an AM and install it using a harness. If you still want to go the stock route, (which I wouldnt suggest) I doubt the ISO cables are the same, and niether are the clips... youd prolly have to re-hard wire it. The colors should match up though.
