Default Replacement of radio for nav system

Hello I would like to know if anyone as replace the factory radio system with a navigation system unit with a 7" sreen like the factory one? What radio trim kit did you use? What is your Nav system? Does the button for the radio on the steering wheel still works? If is possible sent me some pictures of the unit install in your Outlander. Thank youeveryone for reply.

Hello piper. About your questions:
1. Yes, I replace the OEM radio by OEM MMCS. A reprogramming to the ETACS is necessary.
2. I use OEM install kit.
3. I don´t understand your question
4. Yes, all the steering wheel buttons works fine
5. Look the link https://mitsubishiforum.com/m_124086/tm.htm, rdenis remove the MMCS and the method is similar toreplacing theOEM radio. If you want, I have the instructions of the installation of the MMCS step by step. . .

piper, I bought it with dealer of Long Beach, CA, one year ago. I will look for my ticket of purchase tothe price. . .

piper, I check mi ticket:

MMCS + intallation kit, $ 2459.38, taxes including, I installed it, and the reprogramming cost 10 dollars with dealer. . .

was it worth it? the dealer here will do a conversion kit with the factory system for $2100. does it look better then the factory model? are you happy with it?

Other than the ability to manipulate some settings on the vehicle, an aftermarket NAV system can be had for about 1/2 of the factory one:

You can get the latest Pioneer DVD/Nav/IPOD/USB for around $800:

BrodyGuy, the price that mentions Mitsubishi's website is 2410 dollars, so the price that you mention seems good, and yes, I am happy with my MMCS. . .
