I just bought a 93 eclipse gs with a torn cv boot on the left side
i replaced the entire left side axle and its still shuddering and i can hear a "clunking"if im off the gas but if i get on it it goes away
Any idea whats going on?

 

and its only when you are moving correct? i would say it sounds tranny related but obviously i cant be sure because i cant hear it, haha.

 

Has it been sitting for a while? Could be tires that are cupped or out of balance and the clunk could be a trans/engine mount gone bad.
