Default Tranny Sticking in Stop and Go Traffic

Hello again.

Once in awhile, I've noticed that if I'm in stop and go traffic for over 10 minutes, i'll touch the gas to move forward and it'll stick and then rev really high, bounce and then kick in. Its really random.. lol. It also happens on 'hot' days if I'm in town and get stopped at a bunch of stop lights. So obviously the tranny is probably at high temps when this happens, because I never notice it on cool days. And going 40minutes to work through downtown, there is ALWAYS stop and go traffic lol.

its an automatic.

on another note. I flushed my tranny about a year ago due to dirty fluid. Its dirty again, and someone said to see if its the tranny's rubber inner lining? Is this an issue or a load of crap?

thanks =]

rubber inner lining? ok then.....
flush / fill it again, get an external cooler. even an external cooler only would help greatly.
