welll the trade off from having low compression pistons is spool vs power. it's obviously a slower spool b/c you don't have as much power spooling you up BUT psi power WAY outweighs compression power... i'd bet on the interstate you car is a freakin B E A S T!! stroke it i say! you'll be spoolin about 4100-4200. and also if you raise ur rev limiter you'll have more power band... say stretch it out to 8500 that's a 4500 rpm usable powerband which is PLENTY for just about any car except autrocross.

or i could do like john shepherd and shift at the M on the 10,000 rpm tach, lol
this car is stupid how hard it pulls even beyond 100 mph at 28 psi boost. 1st gear is over too quick to get to full boost from a roll, as long as i use the studder box to get it spooled it will launch hard as hell and spins all 4 well into 2nd gear.but to just rev it and let it go it falls on its face of course.
its just no fun to drive in town with a 35 mph speed limiti feel like im driving a ford festiva. I'm used to v8 torque in my older cars. this was my first turbo build.

lol i dont drive stupid like that.
with my old car i can mash it and smoke the tires to 35 and let off, this talon its not doin anything till 35 and its no fun to mess with other cars, all i get to do is make sssssssss - pfffooffooofffooff noises at mustangs & ****.( i see that quote ending up in someones signature)by the time it gets rollin you goin 70 all of the sudden. i cant launch it in town cuz it just jumps like a frog on crack. cops dont bother us for teasing each other, but they do get us for launching from lights. theres a car show every saturday in town and then evryone leaves and does a burnout, so all the cops are usually cool with a little messin around as long as you dont get stupid about it.
BTW how do you remove a bicycle wheel from your intercooler? i seemed to have picked one up on the side roads.
